      Ophthalmic Technician course
      Laxmi College of Optometry is recognized by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education for running a 2 + 1 years course in Ophthalmic Techniques under their MCVC program.

      Eligibility criteria for this course is 10th pass with minimum 50% marks.

      This is a 2 years course and at the end of 2 years final exam is conducted by HSC board. This is considered as 11th and 12th standard education and after passing out, student is eligible for Degree Course in Optometry.

      Students armed with this Diploma, can immediately start earning by working with an Ophthalmologist, an Eye Hospital, an Optician or even start his own practice as an Optician.

      This is a good opening for anybody after 10th standard. In today’s world of stiff competition, this is a very good professional Diploma, which yields very good monetary returns. Highly recommended, as the profession of OPTOMETRY is in real Demand, looking at the number needed, compared to that available.
